Dear SPS Family,

We did it!! The Battle of the Saints was a fun challenge between the students of St. Paul and St. Joe Schools.  It was also a fantastic way for the students and parents to contribute to a worthwhile cause-The Weirton Bread Basket. It was also a great learning tool to see how many cans they actually needed to cover their classroom door. The anticipation to see if their door was covered upon returning after lunch was profound. St. Paul weighed in at 5794 pounds and St. Joe’s weighed in at 2191 pounds.  I can’t thank you enough for all your help for this worthwhile cause.

The month of May is a busy one at St. Paul’s. Please make sure to read the reverse side for all of the upcoming activities.  Please note that we have changed the last day of school to May 26.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Wingett and Ms. Burdine for spearheading our first ever Reading Fair. It was so refreshing to see all of the participants and their displays of the books.

Also, a big round of applause to Mrs. Good for once again heading up our golf tournament. If you have any donations or would still like to golf the last day to sign up is May 2.

Do not forget to order your yearbook if you have not done so.

As we end this year I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their tremendous support. I could not have done it without you. Have a fun and safe summer and see you in August.

God Bless, Irish Pride and Be Kind.

Mr. Lucas Parsons,
Principal
